UV and membrane filtration systems
We service and maintain UV and membrane filtration plants throughout Norway.
A standard service of a UV system consists, among other items, of:
- Internal/external cleaning of quartz tubes
- Internal/external cleaning of sensor windows
- Checking of electrical components
- Replacement of parts as necessary
- Water analysis
- Measuring of UV transmission
- Calibration of the UV intensity sensor
- Service report
A standard service for a membrane filtration system consists, among other items, of:
- Taking preliminary readings of essential operating data
- Checking the pre-filter and cleaning as necessary
- Checking the valves and adjusting as necessary
- Checking the condition of the pipe work
- Checking of any associated pumps with regard to pressure, capacity and general running
- Checking of dosage pump and adjustment as necessary
- Checking condition of dosage pipes and valves
- Checking of pneumatic system
- Thorough cleaning of membranes using cleaning agent, followed by circulation throughout the system
- Rinsing of cleaning agent, dumping of clean water and start-up
- Readings of essential operating data after completion of service
- Adjustment of operating parameters as necessary for optimal operation
- Service report
We keep our service costs as low as possible by a system of apportionment between customers in the same area, in respect of the servicing of both UV and membrane filtration systems, as far as this is possible. This arrangement benefits our customers as it enables us to keep our service charges at a reasonable level.
